Fellowships and grants to implement your projects this summer

Career Opportunities, Features

Hi! usual digest of opportunities for students and early career professional is here. Hope you are taking advantage of this collaboration and at least applying to some of them.

Before you head off to your holidays, consider using this time to enhance your skills and experiences. Working on projects with a team can offer valuable insights and practical skills that you can’t learn alone. Additionally, enrolling in a fellowship can provide you with worthwhile work experience that not only enriches your resume but also prepares you for future challenges. This could be a great opportunity to grow and make the most out of your holiday break. Of course, if what you really need is some time to rest and recharge, then absolutely take that time for yourself. No pressure!

One career tip this week: Networking is a powerful tool in any career journey. Engage with professionals in your field through events, online platforms, and industry groups. Building a diverse network can open doors to opportunities not found through traditional job searches, provide invaluable insights into your industry, and offer mentorship and guidance. Remember, networking is about building genuine relationships, not just exchanging business cards. Show interest in others, offer your help when you can, and keep in touch with your connections. I know from a personal experience, that networking as simple as volunteering or messaging after the event can lead to great opportunities.
