Tastes of the World: A Delicious Journey on Campus
Vol.28, Issue 10, 22th November 2025
This week, our university celebrated International Week, and on Wednesday, we had the Food Tasting event. I was so excited to cover it for the magazine because it was an amazing experience.
I was really surprised by the number of nationalities present. So many students cooked dishes from their countries, and it was wonderful to see everyone sharing their traditions. Walking through the event felt like travelling around the world. Every corner had a different flavor, a new smell, and a unique story behind the food. It was a real pleasure to taste all the specialties and discover new flavors I had never tried before.
It was also a great cultural exchange. We could talk with students from many countries and learn more about their lives, habits, and favorite dishes. Some students came from other campuses, so the event felt even bigger and livelier. I had never seen so many people on campus before! The corridors were full, sometimes it was even a little crowded, but everyone seemed happy and excited. The atmosphere was incredible, full of energy and smiles.
We could walk through the whole floor and try dishes from everywhere. It really felt like a world tour with food. I think it is amazing that all the students participated and cooked something. It made the event very special and personal. Everyone played the game, and it showed how much people enjoy sharing their culture through food.

To finish, I want to say that events like this are not only fun but also important. They help us meet new people, learn about other cultures, and celebrate our differences. This Food Tasting was a big success, and I will remember it for a long time. Thank you to all the organizers of this day!
