Touring Helsinki For The First Time

There were 4 day days in my timetable without a class. From Friday to Monday. Me and my friend decided to spend it in Helsinki. Because we wanted to go somewhere that crowded, unlike Kouvola, and has lot of places to visit. The problem was we didn’t know Helsinki at all. And we remembered that we had student friends in Helsinki that knows the place and they can help us during our trip. They said that we can come to Helsinki and they can help. we went there at Sunday morning.

As soon as we got off from the train, we amazed by the crowd even though it was Sunday, there were crowd. And amazed by the train station itself. Then without meeting the friends, we directly went to the famous cathedral. The walked through the famous stairs between the square and the cathedral.

Then we met with the friends that we talked. They were friendly even though that was our first meeting. Including us, we were 7 seven people.

After fulling our bellies with burgers, we went to the coastline, to the “Helsinki Market Square”. There were great view of the harbour and the SkyWheel Helsinki.

After walking there for nearly half an hour, we went to a random cafe at coastline and chilled some more. Then me and my friend wanted to see the city at nighttime. So, they took us to the “Solo Sokos Hotel Torni”. At the top of the building, there are public cafe that you can visit. You can see entire city centre from above there. Good to remember, it can be quite windy outside at the balcony. Wear tight!!

After visiting some marking places at Helsinki, it was the time to go back. While waiting for the train, we walked even more. Then we hopped on the train and fell asleep. We had a hard time for waking up on right station.

For conclusion, Helsinki is a great city. It is the happiest capital city in the world. Great architectures, and marking places. For speaking both of us, me and my friend (Eray), it was a great experience.
