Betoni Approt 2026

On 14th October, there are event organized by “Kupla Ry” called “Betoni Approt 2026” in Kouvola. On the Manski pedestrian street, there were a tent set and for attending the event, students had to take their passport sheets from there by afternoon. That was one of the biggest events in Kouvola this year. Hundreds of students from both Kouvola and surrounding cities attended that event. It has told that more than 800 tickets sold this year. Almost twice more than previous year!!

The challenge in this event is simple; in your passport there are 20 destinations (14 bars, nightclubs and 6 restaurants) and 24 blank boxes. Just by buying something in these destinations, you are getting a stamp in these blank boxes by each item you buy. You can get max 2 stamps by each destination. If you have;

8 stamps: you’ll get stage 1 overall patch

16 stamps:  stage 2 overall patch

24 stamps: stage 3 overall patch

Students also could take another overall patch from campus chaplain in the “Ravintola Huvilla” placed just by the event tent. And taking photo with the banners there.

There were plenty kind of overalls seen through the night because of the variety of the university students. Each degree has its unique color of overall. You can guess student’s major just by their overall colors. 

Students spent their whole afternoon and evening just for touring these destinations and collecting stamps there. Then returning to the tent and getting their patches based on how much stamp they get.

The actual fun happens at after parties. Students needed a ticket to attend each after party. The attendees got a bracelet that works as an entrance ticket. At the midnight in House of Rock, there were concert placed. Rapper “Korelon” singed for whole hour. At the other side of the pedestrian street, Las Palmas played music for students to have fun and dance. The Bank has a heavy atmosphere and disco. Students choose which place to go or just not attending the after parties.
