To fully reflect the inner world and personality of the owner of the room, designers can use one, but more often they mix several different styles in the interior. It is important to approach the choice correctly and use no more than 2-3 directions, as well as to know the basics of each of the selected styles, and not just focus on details. In the interior, as a rule, they try to use three colors: basic, additional and accent. The basic colors are decorated with floors, walls, ceilings, additional furniture, and the colors of decor and accessories act as accent colors. As a base, it is better to choose a neutral palette. These are not necessarily pastel shades, any colors can be used as a basis, but it is better to choose their calm and muted tones. If the room is irregular in shape, you can experiment with bright expressive colors. For example, to expand a narrow room with light shades on the long side, and, on the contrary, to paint the end room in a rich color. A small room can be decorated in monochrome colors of a dim scale. It is played with different textures and bright accents.

Thoughtful lighting system

To properly organize the perfect lighting, first of all you need to accurately plan the electrical circuit. To do this, they made up a project for the arrangement of furniture in the interior. Competent organization of light will make the room more spacious and being in the room more comfortable. Pay special attention to the characteristics of electrical appliances (intensity, color of the luminous flux and color rendering index). It will depend on them how bright the light will be, how exactly the colors in the interior will be perceived and how the light will affect you — to cheer or soothe.

The main interior styles:

Antique

The antique style originated in the 5th century BC. This style is for those who love luxury and grandeur. The basis of the ancient style consists of arches, rectangular shapes and Greek columns. Instead of accessories, the walls are decorated using stucco and even fresco painting. The colors in the antique style are bright and catchy: blue, green, gold, yellow, red and ivory. Only natural materials are used in this style: ivory, marble, silk and linen textiles, interior stone, gypsum and marble. Due to the high cost of such finishes, artificial materials that repeat the texture of natural ones are more often selected today. And plaster or paint is preferred for wall decoration.

Gothic

The homeland of the Gothic style is France. It is symbolic and is usually performed in dark colors. Mirrors, frescoes, tapestries and paintings are hung on the walls. A distinctive feature of the Gothic style is vertical lines expressed in huge pointed windows and complex arch shapes. Gothic furniture is strict and heavy. It is decorated with carvings and forging. Stairs are usually also forged. The characteristic color scheme also adds to the mystical gloom: dark shades of blue, deep black, ruby, purple, gray and cherry tones.

Renaissance

Renaissance in the interior is a solemn style common in Europe in the XIV–XVI centuries. Mostly it is chosen by adherents of art. It will turn the most ordinary room into a luxurious palace! Renaissance style accepts only natural rich materials of wall and ceiling decoration: marble, stone. They are decorated with antique patterns and gold stucco. Furniture and accessories are decorated with brocade, velvet, embossed leather. Wall painting will fit perfectly into the interior. There are no restrictions on the color palette, the main rule is the absence of bright contrast.

Thus, there are still a lot of styles that involve a lot of different factors. There are still a lot of styles that involve a lot of different factors. Modern materials and technologies allow you to create almost any interior in the house. When developing a design project, it is important to remember not only about aesthetics, but also about comfort. In addition, it is necessary to take into account the technical possibilities of implementing the plan in order to avoid disappointments and alterations.
