NICOLAS DI MATTEO
- What is your name and where are you from? My name is Nicolas Di Matteo, I am from France. I live in Lyon. It is a very nice cities and you can visit some monuments ‘La Basillique Notre Dame de Fourvière. It is a very old church. You can also visit Le Vieux Lyon, it’s a very colorful city where you have little corridors linking one places to another.
- How many countries have you visited? France, Spain, Sardegna in (Italy), UK, Autriche, Slovaquie, Czech Republic, Romania, and finally Finland
- What do you study: I study International Business Management but in France, it is translated “Management des Enterprises à International”?
- How many languages do you speak? I speak three languages, French, English and a little Italian.
- What are your passions? I have a great passion for music. I play drums. I used to play at school for ten years at Le Pont de Beauvoisin.
- Who inspires you the most? I am mostly inspired by Entrepreneurs. I like Elon Musk who created a company without knowing anything about cars, sciences or space. He created Space X out of nothing, and now he has invented Tesla an electric car which can help we humans travel down to the space.
- What is your favorite meal? I love Pizza and Lasagna. I love mostly Italian food because my Grandma.
- Where is your most favorite place on Campus? I like the Auditorium and our school entrance (I love the design).
- What do you miss in France? I miss my sister Méline, my friends, Lucas, Tito, Ewan and Ludo.
- What do you like about Finland?I like the sky, its beautiful during the nights, the snow, big and tall Finnish trees. I also love the center of Kouvola, it Is quitebigger than my city in France.
- Why did you choose Finland for Erasmus?Actually, Finland was my second choice. I wanted to study in Sweden. But I was selected here in Finland because it was my second choice. I have always wanted to study in one of the Scandinavian countries. So,
- What do you like about Finnish people?Finnish people are quite shy, when you know them, they are open minded and are very helpful.
- Would you encourage French students to come to Finland for studies or Erasmus?Yes, of course, They have new teaching methods and encourage students in their projects. Our teachers are really nice, they listen to us and motivates us a lot.
- Any regrets about choosing Finland?I have no regret at all. Finland is a really cold country but when you have layers on, you don’t need to worry about the cold.
- Would you encourage French students to come to Finland for studies or Erasmus?Yes, of course, They have new teaching methods and encourage students in their projects. Our teachers are really nice, they listen to us and motivates us a lot. Coming to Finland for studies, is a cultural shock for me at the beginning. It is really nice to discover how people study in another way. People are quite nice and very helpful. So, Choose Finland for studies or Erasmus.
