Foodora is one of the well-known online food delivery companies in Finland with an eye-catching pink colour theme. The company was initially started in Munich, Germany in 2014. Currently the service is available in European countries such as Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Norway, Austria, Hungary and Czechia. In 2016, the company expanded internationally by entering to Australian market as well by acquiring Suppertime. Then after Foodora expanded their business in Vancouver, Canada in 2017 and further to Ottawa, Canada in 2019.

The company got a hidden blessing during the period of 2019-2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Online food delivering became famous and convenient during that period and Foodora achieved a significant business growth due to the high demand of the service. Along with that demand the company started a grocery delivery service named ‘Foodora Market’. 

It is quite easy to join with Foodora team as delivery partners if someone is willing to earn some additional bucks. Moreover, Foodora is an ideal part time job for students because it is very simple and easy to decide working hours based on your own availability. Foodora has launched their riders’ app to choose the working hours for their delivery praters and the company releases all available hours for the upcoming week in every Wednesday of the current week.

Foodora provides all required equipment to their delivery riders to maintain their service smooth and effective. The initial equipment package includes a thermal bag, winter jacket, t-shirt, cap and a power bank to charge mobile phones. 

Foodora has a good focus on eco-friendly initiatives while doing their businesses. They encourage their delivery partners to use bicycles as well as electric bikes and scooters. Also, they always try to use eco friendly recyclable packaging in delivering. As a summary, Foodora is a convenient, fast and sustainable online delivery service that anyone can easily use, as well as easily earn some extra bucks by becoming delivery partners. Also, the company has become a good rival to other market favourites such as Wolt and Uber Eats.
