This is my Scandinavia trip in autumn break

In autumn break I had ~13 days off and I knew that I can’t be home at that period. So, I planned a Scandinavia trip that lasts 6 days. Even though flights were so expensive and at worst possible time, I bought them and I went to Helsinki Vantaa to fly. I won’t tell you about the destinations at the first place so you can keep on reading.

I flied to Copenhagen and tried to understand how public transportation work. Because it was too late me to realize that it is different than Finland’s system. I got my physical ticket and went to the city centre from the airport. I went to Nyhavn which is the most famous touristic place in Copenhagen, there were very crowded because of both locals and the tourists. There were mostly east-Asian tourists.  And locals were trying to keep on their daily life by cycling, I think. Because bicycles were everywhere. And then I began to walk through historic streets of Copenhagen. After walking through coast, I visited the famous “The Little Mermaid Girl” statue. That day I did 37.000 steps which is equal to 2/3 of a marathon.

It started to rain afternoon in Copenhagen, so I knew that was the time to go to Sweden. That was my first time visiting Sweden after 4 whole years. I bought my ticket to Båstad directly. I wanted to stay at my uncle’s place before touring Sweden. After passing the Øresund Bridge, I went to Sweden. Stayed there in Båstad for 5 days. My cousins were very excited about me visiting them. Just before heading to Copenhagen for coming back to Finland, I visited Gothenburg and Malmö. Malmö is the southernmost city of Sweden. And because it has great connections with the mainland of Europe, it is the second most populated city after Stockholm in Sweden. I wish I had more time to explore these cities, but I had limited time.

And then I went to Copenhagen back to fly back home, Helsinki, Then Kouvola. I accomplished to not sleeping at any point before heading sweet home.
