My first time in the Sauna!

I have always been trying to find the right time to enjoy one of the most recommended Finnish culture/tradition, which is Sauna. And at this Autumn Break, I really got the chance to experience it first hand. This article is all about my experience first time in the Sauna. But, hey I also made a new friend, Rasmus.

Where do I start…

Before heading into the Sauna, I was really nervous about, well, everything. I was hesitant at first, but I had made promise to my friend Rasmus that I will be there. And I don’t break my promises 💪😤. So, I gathered up the courage and then I met up with my roommates and Rasmus. Then we went into the Sauna area.

After heading into the Sauna, firstly, I felt that the temperature was really higher than I expected it to be. But the more I stayed there, the more I began to feel good. After the first round of the Sauna, we went to the Sauna lobby area and chatted for around 10 minutes. It was at this moment, that I also noticed myself becoming whiter than before that I was shocked. But my friends assured, that it was the toxins that came out with the sweat. And I was relieved.

After that, it was time for round two. I went in again and it didn’t disappoint. I was there sweating like crazy, talking to my good friend Rasmus and roommates, and I had a lot of fun. Rasmus also kept increasing the temperature, which scared me and others a little! Some couldn’t keep up with the temperature and had to go. But being so tuff 😤, which you all know already, I stayed there (I am surprised I didn’t find it that difficult to stay there). Then after some time, we all went into the Sauna Lobby area again.

After some chatting, we went into the Sauna for the last time. It was almost the same before, except some people had already gone. We stayed there for a few minutes, and then it was time to go.

I think I am addicted to Sauna! If there are some people really hesitating to go to the Sauna, then I really recommend that they go there, everyone is so friendly and everyone is just there to have a good time!
