Was it a bird? Was it a Plane? No, it was the Patteri ES Speakspace event

With humongous improvements from the other Speakspace events held in the past, this week’s Speakspace event was by far the best and the loudest.

For starters, Patteri ES is a student-driven Entrepreneurship Society of XAMK, created to bring together people who are curious, ambitious, and open to new opportunities. It teaches students about not just Entrepreneurship skills but also soft skills. If you are a videogame addict (like me), think of Patteri ES’s main quest being teaching Entrepreneurship skills/connecting people and side quests being hosting events and teaching soft skills (chilling with the group, too!). One of those events and also the event that I attended, is Speakspace event hosted by my good friend Ahnaaf Sharier, which is hosted on Wednesdays.

If you are unsure whether to visit Speakspace event, let me tell you this, there will be free snacks for everybody and it is XAMK award friendly, too! 😉 You don’t need to be expert, truth be told most of us aren’t. But if you just want to make new friends, hang out and improve your communication skills, then this is the place.

In my opinion, this was the best Speakspace event that I have attended so far! And I am not saying that just because I was the winner, but the effort put in by the other participants was just commendable. There were so many participants who spoke so fluently that I was scared! But nonetheless, I gathered up the courage, presented and everybody voted me as the winner! I again thank those who voted in me, I really appreciate it!

One of my favourite presentations was about Vlad, about his experience at Nordic Business Forum. It really was a good gist and a fun presentation to experience! I also really liked the presentation of Emilia, where she presented her interest in Interior Architecture and showed us the images of some of her own models. I had no idea that they were miniature models! I also realized that fact when others told me about it. Not just these, but many of the other presentations and well, their performance was really great.
