Are you ready to take on the world? Cambridge Venture Camp 2020 is here again!

Cambridge Venture Camp is coming again in spring 2020. Get your business ideas ready and join the adventure of your lifetime! Together with Laurea and Xamk Universities of Applied Sciences, the Cambridge Venture Camp provides a unique opportunity to participate in the intensive entrepreneurial accelerator program which takes place in Helsinki, FI and Cambridge, UK, aiming to bring entrepreneurship closer to students.

The twelfth Cambridge Venture Camp is taking place in March and April 2020. Make sure to not miss this once in a lifetime experience. – The Cambridge Venture Camp experience was rated 4,8/5 among last year’s attendees. 

During the 2-week accelerator program, students will develop their business ideas further while getting connected to the startup ecosystem and workshopping with leading industry experts and mentors.

The program is free of charge for the selected students, including accommodation and travel expenses. However, please note that transportation to or accommodation in Helsinki Area is not provided for. 

For Xamk students the Cambridge Venture Camp is wholly sponsored by Kymenlaakso Startup Ecosystem project which aims at fostering entrepreneurship in the region and especially among Xamk students. The project is funded by European Regional Development Fund and Regional Counsils of Kymenlaakso and Helsinki-Uusimaa. Furthermore, students will benefit from the support of Startup Fund which is managed by Otsakorpi Foundation, Xamk and Patteri Entrepreneurship Society. Purpose of the fund is to support student entrepreneurship, student-run startups and students’ projects.

Degree- and exchange students of Laurea or Xamk Universities of Applied Sciences can apply as individuals or as a team. Find the dates of the program below.

Application period until 9th of February  | Interviews 10th – 13th of February | Pre-event 27th of March |  Helsinki Week 9th – 13th of March – Classes Mon-Fri 9am – 5pm | Cambridge Week 29th of March – 3rd of April – Flights Sun-Fri |  Demo Day TBA. This program expects a 100% attendance.
