Here it is, the first snow of the season, right on the first day of our beloved autumn break. It is predictable, but at the same time, it isn’t. Coming from a country where snow is such a bizarre phenomenon, you can imagine how thrilled I was the first time I looked out of the window and saw everything was pearly white. The second time around, I just let out a long sigh. Nonetheless, it is a sign that puzzles us all “Is this what autumn in Finland like?”. And the answer is yes, it is one of many things that make this chilly European country so special.
I hope you all have had a joyful autumn break, though most of us dreaded going back to school, but perhaps this week’s issue will keep all those essays and tests off your mind a bit.
We are bringing you the innovation competition for students to generate new ideas when facing real business challenge – Innovate or Die, the usual exchange view from Suvi, the Hamina AR Hackathon and many more. Have a sneak peek at our annual International Week schedule and prepare yourself for a fun time!
We hope you enjoy this issue and many more ahead. Stay tuned!
