Pastico with cheese
Ingredients
- 500gr pasta(spaghetti)
- 1 of ½ ml milk
- 4 eggs
- 400gr white cheese
- 100gr butter
- 100gr shredded cheese
- salt to taste
The dish I want to share with you this issue is a very popular Albanian dish that can be cooked by everyone. It can be eaten as a single plate because it has a lot of ingredients and calories. There are different ways to cook pastico, it can be cooked with ground beef or vegetables, but today I want to share with you guys my favorite one, which is cooked with cheese.
The first thing you need to do is preheat the oven to 175 degrees c. After that you need to bring a large pot of lightly salted water to boil. You have to leave the water boil for 8-10 minutes. After the water is boiled enough you need to add the pasta and let it boil for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile you need to crack the eggs and stir them with the cheese until they become one. After that you need to add the cold milk. After the pasta is boiled enough you add it in the same bowl as the other ingredients. Mix everything together and then put it in a baking pan(which has butter in it). After you cover the whole baking pan with the mixed ingredients, put butter and shredded cheese on top of it. The next step is to put it on the oven and leave it there for about 30 minutes. After the 30 minutes are up you have to leave it for another 10 minutes in the turned off oven. The final step is getting the dish out of the oven and cutting it into pieces. The delicious dish is ready to be served.
