Thank you, Insider!
Oh, man, what a year and a half here at XAMK and in Insider! The past semester was very different for me, as I was completing my studies remotely from Malta, as you know. It was great to shift from the in-house cheff of Insider to an over-seas reporter. It was nice to have a chance to share my experiences with you guys and if you have questions -related to holidays in Malta or working or internships here – you can contact me for instance via Skype: suvikarell@gmail.com or via Instagram: suvimariakar. I am happy to help out! When it comes to Insider, I have a lot to be thankful for. First of all, I gained a great, life-time friend (Seti, love you to bits) and second of all, career-wise, being a part of Insider has been extremely valuable. I learned to work with WordPress (which is now a part of my everyday work basically) and having published material looks great in […]
Connections, connections
My journey in XAMK hasn’t been that long – started autumn 2016 and now graduating this month. I have been going full steem ahead, so now it is a good time to take a deep breath and start looking back: what are the valuable things I’ll be taking with me from this journey, what are my wise words for other students? I have probably mentioned some of these already, either here or in XAMK’s Instagram, where I was a star for a week – one of the best weeks of my life, I now know how it feels to be a celebrity with maaany followers! But to the point: there are many great courses that are beneficial in my opinion to ALL students and those are: International Negotiations (was held by Sara Zabai) and Intercultural Issues in Finland (was held by Sara Zabai, Slaveya Hämäläinen and Hugh Clack). I highly recommend everyone to choose those courses – they teach you interesting things about not only others and other cultures, but also about YOURSELF. Another thing to emphasize is networking. I used to think that networking is about getting to know as many people as possible, about being super social at all times and I saw it as something very tiring. Now I have learned that it doesn’t have to be anything forced. It just means that you should always keep your eyes open: even Tinder can be a place to get contacts, not just the romantic ones! So think outside the box, be active in social media, try to look for people that are interested about similar topics than you are. LinkedIn is […]

A week of a content writer
I am obviously telling about the week of a content writer in iGaming industry, which probably is a lot different from other content writers. At least the main topic is, […]
